At the first crossroads you will see the arrow "Kreuzberg-Rundweg E20"; similar signposts are followed throughout the hike. The Einsiedlerboden is a good place for a rest, and following the sign "Kreuzberg-Rundweg E20" you will reach the "Adi Seifert-Bank". From here you can see the pilgrimage church Heiligenstein. Now you come to the refuge, from which you have a view to the Heiligenstein and the Gaflenztal in the direction of Waidhofen an der Ybbs. On the way up there are always wonderful views of Weyer. When you come out of the forest, follow the forest road for a short distance, past the nature conservation monument - from here it is about 500 meters to the "Three Crosses" - to Kreuzboden (wood storage area).

Attention. Continue sharply to the right - the signpost can be seen. You continue hiking past the Rosa-Bründl to the "Gesäuseblick", which invites you to a short rest. From here you can see the Großer and Kleiner Buchstein and behind them the Hochtor. The hike continues and the forest gives a view of Weyer, with the Rapoldeck free. Via the "H. u. P. Neubauer Weg" one goes down in serpentines. Once on the forest road, continue to the left until you reach the sign "Kreuzberg-Rundweg E20" or Wittbergweg and hike in the young forest to Einsiedlerboden and there back to the starting point
