A bike tour to the Eternal Wall - pure thrill
  • the Kaiser Tour – 38 km, 770 metres of change in altitude – The tour doesn't just earn its name Kaiser Tour because it leads through the forests and along the paths that Franz and Sis once travelled on foot and by carriage, but primarily because of the highlights it offers. You will see the Ewige Wand and the Tauernweg to Ischl and it has lots of cozy cabins with the Ratluck'n and Hoisenradalm to offer.
  • the Sandling-Round - 35 km, 1350 metres of change in altidude – have a break at lake Altausee and a Kaiserschmarrn at the Hütteneck-hut

  • the Durchgangsalm-Round – 48 km, 1380 Hütteneckalm – The tour starts on Lake Hallstatt and leads along the new bike path with a view of the world-famous city of Hallstatt before the path becomes steep in the Echerntal on the way to Gosau – a tour that offers everything – beautiful views, cosy meadows, challenging inclines and declines.
  • the Salzkammergut 5 Lake Tour (lake Wolfgangsee, Schwarzensee, etc.) – 60 km, 1350 Hütteneckalm – Mountains and lakes: a combination that the Salzkammergut presents spectacularly, beautiful views and also very appropriate for bikers who without a lot of technical skills.

Spital am Pyhrn – Dümlerhütte Alpine Hut
Theme: 2 Millionen Years in 2 Hours

Popular summer tourism and winter sports resort in the south of Upper Austria. Well-run restaurants and hotels. The late Baroque cathedral at the Pyhrn from the year 1190, a very remarkable church of the Stiftskirche, dominates. Double-storey, Late Gothic rock church St. Leonhard, Between heaven and earth - Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner and the world of the 8,000s in the Stiftungsgebäude, Lindermayr-Schauschmiede, Panoramahallenbad etc.

South of the Stiftskirche (parking lot) - direction Stiftsteich. Follow the signposts along the so-called "Fischerweg" ("Teichl"), then follow the signposted water trail (Schautafeln) to the Pflegerteich and the large parking area to the valley station of the Wurzeralm cable car 600 altitudes or about 1.5 hours of rise time). Otherwise, just south of the valley station, the slopes on the road, partly on a descent (path no. 201), in the north-west direction to the Almdorf Wurzeralm, 1.427 m, (several Einkehrstätten). From the station of the cable car we descend to the Linzerhaus. This is located above the Teichlboden in the Hochtalkessel of the Wurzeralm. Well-known ski resort!

Linzerhaus 1,371 m, ÖAV Section Linz, runs from early December to mid-October. Starting point for various tours in the Warscheneck area - eastern Totesgebirge.

From here, we will shortly reach the moorish valley of the valley, meandering through the meadows, with the latschenmoor and its own flora. Geologists explain this to us: "About seven thousand years ago there was a lake here."

There is also the interesting theme trail "2 million years in 2 hours" with various viewpoints and info huts.

From the idyllically situated Filzmoos-Almen (in the summer managed) at the foot of the Steilwand of the Stubwieswipfel now leads the route 218 northwards over pasture spots and forest up to a forest road. Follow this road for a short distance until you reach the road sign, then turn left and go up the forest and meadows to the Halssattel (the highest point of the entire cycle path, 1,600 m, excluding alpine variants). From here you can enjoy a nice view of the striking mountain profile of the Stubwieswipfel. From Halssattel hike westwards descending in the so-called Mausbachgraben. Afterwards it is mostly flat in the north direction and finally through a sparse larch forest slightly ascending, until you have reached the Etapenziel, the Dümlerhütte on the Stofferalm. This is located in a magnificent location.
