the Kaiser Tour – 38 km, 770 metres of change in altitude – The tour doesn't just earn its name Kaiser Tour because it leads through the forests and along the paths that Franz and Sis once travelled on foot and by carriage, but primarily because of the highlights it offers. You will see the Ewige Wand and the Tauernweg to Ischl and it has lots of cozy cabins with the Ratluck'n and Hoisenradalm to offer.

the Raschberg Round – 52.50 km, 1,610 metres of change in altitude – Into the Ausseerland and over the challenging Grabenbach back up to the Raschberg – marvelous view of one of the best-known mountain meadows in the Salzkammergut – the Hütteneckalm – the Kaiserschmarrn alone is reason enough for a visit!
the Durchgangsalm-Round – 48 km, 1380 Hütteneckalm – The tour starts on Lake Hallstatt and leads along the new bike path with a view of the world-famous city of Hallstatt before the path becomes steep in the Echerntal on the way to Gosau – a tour that offers everything – beautiful views, cosy meadows, challenging inclines and declines.

Open-air museum Katzensteinermühle with troad box and frame saw

Absolutely worthwhile - a visit to the Katzensteinermühle mill.
At the Gaflenzbach, shortly before the confluence with the Enns, you will find this old, fully operational mill from 1820. It was dismantled at its old location and rebuilt true to the original at the Gaflenzbach by the Katzensteiner family. Convince yourself of the romance of this excursion destination.

The Katzensteinermühle originally stood in the Küpferner Hammergraben and had been the house mill of four farms since 1820 and was in operation until 1955. In 1978, the mill was dismantled and moved piece by piece.

Next to the Katzensteinermühle, an old granary from 1850, the "Troadkasten", was rebuilt. In this "Troadkasten" you can trace the history of milling, from the "Reibsteibn" from the 6th century B.C. to the ultra-modern industrial mill of the present day. The latest attraction in the open-air area near the Katzenstein mill is a so-called gang saw.

The surroundings of the Katzensteinermühle were redesigned in 2005. A fish ladder now enables the various species, such as trout, grayling, barbel, huchen, etc., to carry out their natural migration. The automatic weir ensures better flood protection.

There are train stations in Ternberg, Trattenbach, Losenstein, Reichraming, Großraming, Küpfern, Kastenreith, Kleinreifling and Weißenbach-St. Gallen.
