- the Hallstättersee-Koppenwinkel-Round – 30 km, 150 metres of change in altitude – wonderful sight to the village of Hallstatt – nature of Koppenwinkelsee
- the Weissenbach Round – 21 km, 240 metres of change in altitude – our tour for the afternoon after your trip
- the Hochmuth-Round – 23 km, 500 meters of change in altitude – nice tour for half- a – day
- the Blaa-Alm Round– 45.5 km, 960 metres of change in altitude – a classic to get started and get to know the region, but also THE tour to take when it is very hot, since most of the change in altitude has to be conquered at the beginning of the tour and Altaussee Lake is a welcome stop off to cool down
- the Kaiser Tour – 38 km, 770 metres of change in altitude – The tour doesn't just earn its name Kaiser Tour because it leads through the forests and along the paths that Franz and Sis once travelled on foot and by carriage, but primarily because of the highlights it offers. You will see the Ewige Wand and the Tauernweg to Ischl and it has lots of cozy cabins with the Ratluck'n and Hoisenradalm to offer.
- the Sandling-Round - 35 km, 1350 metres of change in altidude – have a break at lake Altausee and a Kaiserschmarrn at the Hütteneck-hut
- the Raschberg Round – 52.50 km, 1,610 metres of change in altitude – Into the Ausseerland and over the challenging Grabenbach back up to the Raschberg – marvelous view of one of the best-known mountain meadows in the Salzkammergut – the Hütteneckalm – the Kaiserschmarrn alone is reason enough for a visit!
- the Durchgangsalm-Round – 48 km, 1380 Hütteneckalm – The tour starts on Lake Hallstatt and leads along the new bike path with a view of the world-famous city of Hallstatt before the path becomes steep in the Echerntal on the way to Gosau – a tour that offers everything – beautiful views, cosy meadows, challenging inclines and declines.
- the Salzkammergut 5 Lake Tour (lake Wolfgangsee, Schwarzensee, etc.) – 60 km, 1350 Hütteneckalm – Mountains and lakes: a combination that the Salzkammergut presents spectacularly, beautiful views and also very appropriate for bikers who without a lot of technical skills.

The Alpengasthaus is situated at 1,240 metres above sea level on the Hütteneckalm, a wonderful hiking area. The Peinsteiner family uses produce from their own farm. The homemade pastries and fresh dumplings with coffee are very popular

Great views of the mountains of the Inner Salzkammergut
The easy and leisurely hike to the Hütteneckalm is also particularly suitable for families. There is a petting zoo, a playground and plenty of space for children to play and run around.
The Peinsteiner family spoil their guests with local delicacies and even bake their own bread - if there is enough time.
The Hütteneckalm in Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee is worth a trip. Walking time from the Lesehotel in Wurmstein via the Roßmoosalm about 1.5 hours.
The large sun terrace invites you to linger, with a tasty Brettljause you can really relax.
In winter the hut is open from the end of December to mid-March (sh. The Hütteneckalm is open every Saturday and Sunday in winter (you can reach it with snowshoes or touring skis or via Pichlern - Flohwiesen car park).

In winter, the hut is open from the end of December (see website www.huetteneckalm.at) also on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays until mid-March.
In summer the hut is open from middle of May till October 26, 2025.

Freshly prepared dishes from the wood oven are true culinary delights.
The Peinsteiner Family attaches particular importance to the original.
They offer fried potatoes not frensh potatoes.
The typical delicious "Schnitzels" do not float in the deep fryer, they will be baked out in the pan and the so called “Spotzn” are homemade with fresh eggs.
All pastries are homemade and when time permits, they even bake their bread, with rye and sourdough, even in the wood oven.

Accessibility / arrivalThe famous Alpengasthaus Hütteneck is situated on 1.240 m. You will be stunned by the dircetly onto lake Hallstatt and the Dachstein glacier.
There will be two possibilities for arrival:
Variant 1:
Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt - roundabout traffic (B 145) - Lasern - Riedln - Wurmstein (6,5 km) - Predigstuhl - parking area.
From there you walk about 90 minutes to the Hütteneck hut via the Rossmoos Alm.
Variant 2:
Driveway from St. Agatha (B 145) - Pichlern via Halleralm to parking Raschberg.
From there you walk about 45 minutes to the Hütteneck hut.
No fees are charged for either car park (Predigstuhl car park, Flohwiesen car park or Raschberg car park).
