Under the theme of "experiencing" history, Austria's largest private carriage museum will take you back to the past of our means of transport before the automobile.

Carriage rides are also possible on request.

With the guest card "In total more" you receive a 20% discount on one entry.

Over 80 vehicles are housed in the museum, which was founded in 1986 and covers an area of over 1200 m². A cross-section and juxtaposition of agricultural, bourgeois and aristocratic means of transport are the focus of the museum. The museum shows carriages that "tell a story", such as the sleigh in which Josef Werndl drove or the state coach of the Linz diocesan bishops.

Another part of the museum is dedicated to accessories for carriages and horses. A special concern of the museum is to bring the cultural-historical aspects of the former means of transport closer to today's visitors and to tell the story of the "driving culture" of the past.

In addition, the collection of the Heimatstube Großraming is also represented, which offers an authentic insight into the life of the Ennstal population in the 19th century.
